[MCPE-181975] Minecraft custom skin not loading

My minecraft custom skin will not load instead it just shoes me steve doesn't matter what's he's wearing just steve. I'm connected to Internet because I have access to multiplayer and servers. The classic skins are fine for some reason? The custom skins do seem to work once or twice every 6 months or so. I don't know what to do.
