i have been to this spot at least three times before without incident - i simply left my horse down where you see the saddle and went up the stairs to my crafting table and got a shock when i saw the message.
is this a bug ?
what conditions would make it happen ?
(i noticed several threads on horse suffocation but none were for Bedrock Edition.)

is nobody from Mojang going to comment on this at all ?
someone else had the same issue and it just gets tacked on to this and left alone ?
is it to do with chunk-loading ? no feedback whatsoever to suggest ways to (maybe) avoid it ??

Your report does not contain enough information to understand or reproduce the problem.
Was the horse on or close to a chunk border when they suffocated?
You might also attach or link a copy of the world for further testing.

i don't know how you want me to reproduce the problem because it's erratic - as i said, i had passed that area countless times before without problem - the one thing that i would recall being different was going much faster - leaving/dismounting the horse fast and moving on.
i am not going to risk yet another horse just to test this and i don't know if you would bother to do that if i attached a copy of the world,
i do play on a somewhat slow internet connection and i think that seems to be relevant since many Bedrock issues seem to be lag-related.
as for chunk borders, i believe you can calculate that yourself from the pictures i attached which show coordinates.
