the /gamemode command doesn't let you switch to spectator by typing /gamemode 3 while if you type for example /gamemode 1 it is gonna switch to creative

The Spectator game mode can no longer be entered via the /gamemode 6 command, only via /gamemode spectator.
Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
