Minecraft skin not loading on java bedrock crossplay external server

For some reason, my minecraft skin isn't loading for me on a java bedrock crossplay server, the skin I had did showed up on the pause menu, but when I resumed game, my minecraft skin instead showed up as Steve skin, it happened on 1.20 previously and it still happens on 1.21. I was playing on bedrock. But I'm currently playing on 1.21.0.03

Btw the affected version is actually 1.21.0, not 1.21.10.23 preview

Is it custom skin or skin from the character creator? Do other players' custom skins load correctly?

Custom minecraft skin,  I did manage to see others' minecraft skin load from my pov 

Crossplay between Bedrock and Java is not officially supported, so any issues related to it are not accepted on the bug tracker.
