Will not log in to nintendo account or microsoft account automatically on boot up.

When booting up, the screen says logging into nintendo account. When pressing settings, it will not load. when trying to join a world, it asks me to wait a few moments to log in with my microsoft account, which it cannot do. when pressing a realm, it redirects me to an screen where it says I should sign in to my microsoft account, I press it and the screen goes blank, until I press b to back up. Eventually the switch registers a communication error with the server (I am already connected to the internet) and now the home screen says its signing into my microsoft account, which it doesn't do and I end up on the same screens when trying to enter my worlds. tldr; The game fails to sign in to my nintendo and microsoft accounts, and since it doesn't let me do it manually, I cannot play the game.
