You can make a bubble elevator which does not have any water in Minecraft

(This bug was from 1.13)

Here are the steps to create a bubble elevator in Minecraft:

1. *Dig a Shaft*: Create a vertical shaft where you want the elevator to be.

2. *Place Water*: Fill the entire shaft with water source blocks. Use kelp to turn flowing water into source blocks.

3. *Add Blocks*:

   - For upward bubbles, place soul sand at the bottom.

   - For downward bubbles, place a magma block at the bottom.

4. *Finish*: Ensure there are no gaps in the water and test the elevator to ensure it works.
