This bug will have your display name as a skins name then your linked Microsoft account.
Swapping skins dose not fix the issue and in realms, server, or personal worlds it is set to the skin name and not the account gamertag
The bug may be fixed by removing the custom skin from saved characters if its there but the fix is only temporary, upon launching again it will default to the skin name again.
