There is a very noticeble delay when switching items in the inventory and hotbar. I have to wait a fraction of a second before I can replace the item I drag with the item that's in the item slot. This delay only exists for a certain period of time. After that, I can switch the items with no delay issues.
Please fix this delay, as it's extremely annoying when I want to switch items on servers in PvP games and it doesn't work because I close the inventory too fast because I assume that the item switches instantly.

I'm just warning you, because when making a post on the bug tracker, reporters are strongly encouraged to at least include steps to reproduce. Otherwise you risk getting your issue closed by a Mod or a Bot for not having enough information.
Having the same issue, it is very noticeable, especially in PvP, and quite annoying. And migrated is right, this bug still exists and it happens literally any time you switch an item in the inventory. Everyone can reproduce this issue easily on any platform, but it is most noticeable when playing on PC. In Java, there is absolutely zero delay, while in Bedrock you can click like 2 or 3 times without anything happening because of the delay.
Please fix this issue, thanks in advance.
