While using my elytra to fly down a 6x6 tunnel at y-16 I crashed into a crack in the ceiling and died to kinetic energy. I died within 2 minutes of my respawn point and was back to my items within that time, 1-2 minutes. However the only items I retrieved were the items in my hot bar and inventory. Every item I had equipped on my player had mysteriously vanished into thin air. This included my enchanted elytra and my fully enchanted netherite boots, leggings, and helmet along with a shield. This has been an issue for over 2 years according to online forums and needs to be fixed. Getting fully enchanted netherite and elytra takes way to much hard work and dedication for it to be disappearing for absolutely no reason to some bug. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED!
