the update that supposedly brought the slide bar saying “players needed to sleep” is just not a thing i’ve enabled experimental mode i’ve tried multiple devices and can’t find it anywhere, it was supposed to have came out with the recent update that dropped bundles

I do not seen anything in the Bundles of Bravery changelog about a "players needed to sleep" slider. Can you please link to the changelog where you saw this?
