Updated description from MCPE-194974:
When clicking on the button labeled “Edit” under any installed world, irrespective of the packs directly applied to that world, the game will immediately crash. This issue occurs if there is a behavior/resource pack present in the behavior_packs
, development_behavior_packs
, resource_packs,
or development_resource_packs
folders that have a missing dependency. The issue can be resolved by removing any packs which have missing dependencies or resolving the dependency issue by changing pack UUIDs.
Reproduction Steps:
Download [mediaInline], which contains a simple BP/RP combination, where the resource pack is misconfigured with the wrong dependency UUID.
Place
crash_enabler_BP
into thebehavior_packs
ordevelopment_behavior_packs
folder.Place
crash_enabler_RP
into theresource_packs
ordevelopment_resource_packs
folder.Launch the game.
Find any world and click on the “Edit” button below it.
Original Description:
When I Click on the World Edit button On certain worlds, the game crashes/kick me out. This started to happen when I downloaded a big texture pack, but even after I successfully deleted the texture pack, the game still crashes.

It just happened to me. I even created a new world and it still crashes whenever i click the Pencil button to edit the world. This is frustrating.
It happened to me every time I tried to edit my world in April. I only took a two month break from playing….
