Even if you edit the world thumbnail, it cannot be displayed as if there is no screenshot. In fact, the screenshot is saved.

Steps to Reproduce:
This may or may not be consistent.
Open the Minecraft Preview game, wait until you are fully signed into your Microsoft account. Make sure you have at least one screenshot in your profile.
Go to edit an existing world.
Press the bottom-left button that is on the world thumbnail.
Select "Change thumbnail".
