How did it happen?
I was preparing several bee hives to build a farm, and when i filled a shulker box, i mined it. It was then that i noticed that dragging it trough the inventory caused a lot of lag.
This not only happens in the player's inventory, it also happened if it was moved on a barrel or in a chest.
Steps to follow:
Get a bee nest/ bee hive with 3 bees inside
Get it with silk touch
Copy the item until you fill a shulker box
Mine the shulker box and collect it
Try to move the shulker in your inventory
This going to cause a lot of lag
I noticed this bug since version 1.21.40, and it has continued like this since then. I have also been following the previews on my pc and on my iOS dispositive and it also happens there.
PD: apparently this only happens if you distribute the 27 bee hives thought all the shulker box slots, if you have them stacked there is no lag.
