Bees won't stop spawning even after source is removed causing chunk base lag

REALMS SERVER Bees won't stop spawning even after source is removed causing chunk base lag

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Visiting coordinates of chunk base with the bees causes immediate severe lag

2. Placing blocks or entering chunk base area

3. Removing source blocks but coming back to area, bees have continue to respawn.

Observed Results:
Even after removing source blocks for hives/bees, they continue to spawn causing chunk area to lag severely. 

Expected Results:
Normal bee spawning from source blocks after removal rather than generating from chunk seemingly from nowhere.
