Resource Pack Fog will not work without another resource pack loading an entirely separate Biomes_Client.json

In order to load custom fogs into Bedrock I need a fog file for the specific biome and the biomes_client,json file to inform the game which fog file to read for the given biome.

I am confident I’ve taken these actions appropriately but am only given results when a secondary resource pack is placed underneath the one I am trying to apply these settings to.

The issue seems to only fix itself when another “biomes_client” file exists under the standard one, this works with the Vanilla Example pack and many other fog-based packs found online. You don’t even need anything to be inside biomes_client. Even if left blank, the top resource pack will work as intended. This can also be bodged by duplicating the same pack twice and applying them on top of eachother.

A very peculiar issue, but it’d mean a ton if it could be fixed, thank you for your time 🙂!
