Skins from the Super Mario Mash-up Pack once again disallows all forms of multiplayer, in same, seemingly suspicious way. This bug contradicts the hidden note from Different Minecraft Editions in Minecraft Help and makes players annoyed and confused when trying to toggle multiplayer, requiring them to switch away from the skin pack just to actually toggle multiplayer on or off.
Steps to reproduce:
With Minecraft open, go to Dressing Room
On the existing slot (that’s unused), click the hanger icon (Classic Skins button)
Equip a skin from the Super Mario Mash-up Pack
Return to main menu
Click Play
If on old UI (JSON UI), Click Create New, if on new UI (OreUI), Click Create new world
Click Create New World (or “Create new world” again if on New UI (OreUI))
Click Multiplayer and observe the toggles
Click Play
Expected result: On previous versions (that uses JSON UI), Switch-specific multiplayer could be toggled but cross-platform multiplayer should be locked disabled. The (offending) pop-up from the previous version would be "Platform-restricted skin".
Actual result: On step 8, Both cross-platform multiplayer and Switch-specific multiplayer over Nintendo Switch Online and Multiplayer toggle seem to be locked disabled, inconsistent to one from Minecraft Help. On step 9, an offending pop-up claimed that the skin isn't usable on (all forms of) multiplayer (see note) appears, contradicting one from Minecraft Help. However, as long as you didn't activate the resource pack of the Super Mario Mash-up Pack, this has no effect when entering the world as it basically only allows Switch-specific multiplayer over Nintendo Switch Online anyways.
Note: I was offended by the pop-up actually, but based of "skin disallowed offending pop-up.JPG", the title of the pop-up translates to "Skin disallowed" and the description translates to "The skin you are currently using is from a content pack, that disallows multiplayer. Change your skin or continue (playing) the world on singleplayer (only)", the top button is "Continue without multiplayer", The bottom one is "Change character / skin". The hidden note from Different Minecraft Editions in Minecraft Help can also be checked on "Mario mash-up disclaimer from Different Minecraft Editions.png". Please also consider this feedback as this is my hope to be fixed with.

OreUI Play screen did not break the steps needed to reproduce 👍
I also discovered workarounds which are off-topics to me, but they work around contradicting multiplayer settings for the world template(s) and attempting to disable cross-platform multiplayer:
Hosting multiplayer only in Nintendo Switch-specific one over Nintendo Switch Online: Sign-out of your Microsoft account on your Nintendo Switch, however all purchased contents that's made with your Microsoft account won't be usable until you signed back in again. This workaround even works if the issue with the Super Mario Mash-up was escalated, without the Super Mario Mash-up and if the Super Mario Mash-up Pack was usable on cross-platform multiplayer, but the mash-up pack needs to be deactivated by the time this issue is not fixed.
Allowing Switch-specific multiplayer while using resource pack from the Super Mario Mash-up Pack: If you have friends (or other Switches running on alternate account) nearby, switch to local play before having the Super Mario Mash-up Pack activated on a world. It does not require Nintendo Switch Online and this seems to force Switch-specific multiplayer over local network to be enabled.
Avoid deactivating the resource pack / disabling multiplayer for the platform-restrictive world template by the time this bug isn’t fixed.
This bug may affect the resource pack. I had sent the one below to Minecraft Help but they told me to post that to Feedback, and then they ghosted me in a separate support ticket (not fair gng).
Steps to reproduce on the resource pack:
With Minecraft open, click “Play”
Click “Create new world”
Click “Owned by me”, make sure you grabbed at least one Marketplace content
Click “Super Mario Mash-up”, since it defaults to have the resource pack activated
Click Multiplayer on the left bar
Turn off Multiplayer toggle
Try to turn the Multiplayer toggle back on
Expected result: It should not cause the pop-up to appear, even if so, it should not also disable Switch-specific multiplayer
Actual result: It causes the pop-up to appear, telling players to deactivate the resource pack (see "resource-pack-disallows-multiplayer.jpg", translated to “Content disallowed”; “You activated the Super Mario Mash-up Pack, [which] this is not allowed on cross-platform multiplayer.”, “Remove content and re-enable multiplayer”; “Back”), and it makes hosting the world only in Switch-specific multiplayer over Nintendo Switch Online impossible.
Workaround specific to that: Included from comments earlier if players prefer Nintendo Switch, otherwise for PC and mobile players who cannot access the Nintendo consoles (for cost, space, time, even availability and Nintendo's ethics), for the world and resource pack, they can also import the community ports of it.
Additional note, “(Nintendo) Switch specific multiplayer” means Multiplayer mode where only Nintendo Switches can connect with each other (other Nintendo Switches), "Cross-platform multiplayer" means Multiplayer mode where one platform can join another (i.e. Windows / iOS / Android to Nintendo Switch).
