Was exploring and found this a few times. Whenever you generate new chunks after a new update, liquids (water, lava) doesn’t generate where it should be. And instead is empty ground where a chunk border can be clearly seen as the liquid just cuts off. Especially seen in underground aquifers.
to produce this, just go into any new chunks by liquid after a new update. Sometimes it does this, sometimes it doesn’t.
