stuck with authenticate microsoft services error

Here's my situation -
4 switches (3 kids, 1 adult). I'm the admin of their microsoft and minecraft accounts since they're all under 10. Before first week of Feb the kids had no problem accepting invites to the world I host for them. We're all friends in nintendo and minecradt and at this point, all the microsoft and nintendo and minecraft friending/permissions and all that are all set up correctly and everything has been working fine. Now in this last week, one child shows up as offline to us all in minecraft even if she’s 1) signed in with her nintendo account 2) signed in to microsoft 3) sees us as online and playing, 4) shows up on everyones nintendo friends page as being online and playing

Here's what I've done to troubleshoot
logged in/out (both on nintendo account and microsoft account from within minecraft and on the microsoft website)
checked permissions in game, in microsoft family management, on minecraft site (they’re all fine )
tested creating and inviting amongst all the switches and it works for every switch and account besides the impacted one (doesn't work as she's offline, even if her switch says she's logged in on her nintendo and microsoft account)
powered down, relaunched, all other switches and hers
deleted her login data in minecraft then repeated all of the above steps
have done the thing with the qr code from her switch both on my phone, and from my desktop (at least 4 times now)
have checked network/date/time on all switches to make sure they have the same date time
have checked game version and console version for any updates (they're all the same)

It's literally just this one switch has decided to stop showing that player as online even if they're logged in to their accounts and playing fine. They have no trouble logging in to play in their world and they can invite any of us they see online, even if we see her as not online when she's inviting us. Very frustrating. Any tips?

I got the same issue on Playstation 4

It has something to do with the time/clock not being on in sync, after that has been done the issue solves itself

I agree with Yorrick. I was having the same issue and I fixed my Switch’s time and it solved my problem.

Here's how to do it:

  • From the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu, select "System Settings"

  • Scroll down the options on the left and select "System"

  • On the right-hand side of the screen, select "Date and Time"

  • If prompted, enter your Parental Controls PIN

  • Enable "Synchronize Clock via Internet"
