Server IP Address Visible

The new Server UI makes the IP Address/Port visible for private servers. This is a security risk and concern for any content creators, particularly streamers, or just private individuals. It unnecessarily increasing attack surface area even if allowlisting is in place. We do not want our IP displayed to the whole world for bad actors to exploit.

This seems like a MASSIVE oversight from Mojang, especially when (as far as I’m aware) the new UI elements cannot be modified with resource packs so we can’t even fix it ourselves.

Although bad actors is the bigger problem for sure, it’s not just bad actors. The random people who show up in people’s stream asking “can I join” will now be able to just add the IP and try to join… over and over…

Please change the new UI so that we can connect/disconnect from custom servers without displaying the IP address/port for that server. This presents a significant security issue for content creators, especially streamers. We do not want our IP displayed to the whole world for bad actors to exploit, or anyone really.

This is a massive security issue for live content creators!! Please change it so we can choose to hide it at least!

This information should be hidden behind an edit screen. There is absolutely no need for it to be out in the open for all to see.

Consider giving us your IP address for your servers; if you think this is no big deal.
