Now this problem persists for a long time now and all related duplicates and original post show resolved but it is is not resolved.
The Natural texture package (by Mojang) now only loads when playing on local (Bluetooth) network after doing several times the below explained work around.
I did not find the permanent solution yet.
Original post:
I noticed my game suddenly did not load any-more, it was generating an error with the Mojang Natural textures package,
The game comes with a pop-up that mentions the texture package has an error and you need to restart the game or re-download the package.
The only way to solve this is to:
deactivate the texture package in the game specific settings,
and then move back to the earlier splash screen to general settings and deactivate it there as well (resources) , go back again to the splash screen that says play game / settings / market place, when you do, it will first tell you "loading recourses, this might take a while"
EDIT: switch to local network by pressing Y and go back to splash screen.
Than go back to general settings again.
Activate the texture package again and then go back to the splash screen, it comes again with the message: "loading recourses, this might take a while"
Now go to play games and choose your world to play,
Now the world loads without error message, if it is not working now, unload the texture pack again and start over..
When you leave the game/world and return to the game/world before deactivating and reactivating the texture package, you will always get the error message that the package has an error and needs to be re-downloaded and the game restarted, (however that does not help).
Instead, just deactivate the package, leave settings and return to settings and reactivate the package in general settings, while you keep the specific world/game settings resources on basic / standard (no packages) , otherwise your game will not open.
I have another nintendo switch with Minecraft and the same texture pack from Mojang and that one has no problems.
These problems started after the update from 1.20.4 to 1.21.44 (and now on 1.21.50 EDIT: 1.21.62)
No third party addons have been installed / loaded, only the standard Mojang packages (beta, classic and natural).
Does anyone have any permanent solution to this other than not loading any texture pack at all?
