end gateway portals can send players through unloaded terrain

On several occasions I have fallen through the ground in the end while traveling through the gateway portals. This issue has made endgame activities extremely risky due to the nearly 1 in 5 chance of losing everything to the void. I’ve lost several complete sets of netherite tools/armor to this issue, Making it difficult to motivate myself to progress

The terrain doesn’t even appear before I pass through the ground into the void

I have encountered this issue while playing on a realm as well as a private world.
