Cannot spread blocks in crafting grid with left click

I cannot spread blocks in the crafting table with left click. Right click still works fine.

Steps to reproduce:

1. load up a world in preview

2. place down a crafting table

3. put a stack of blocks, such as cobblestone, in your inventory

4. try to spread the blocks around the crafting grid by holding left click

5. the blocks don’t spread, and often get sent into the inventory when trying

6. they are supposed to spread out and divide the stack as they do
