Settings won't save

Everytime I sign in and change my settings like brightness, touch controls, video settings, and even choosing storage to be in external all gets reset whenever I close the app. When I open it again I have to sign in again, change my settings all over again, only for it to reset AGAIN. My worlds are still saved and even my custom skin is still there so I don't know what to do.

I saw online that others with an android 15 os also have this problem but I haven't seen any solutions yet for the last 20 days or so.
