I'm experiencing the same problems with previous versions, video, audio and Control Settings get restarted when I restart Minecraft, this isn't a Google Play Problem or a Storage problem, is a Minecraft Problem. How I know? Because even using a non Google Play downloaded version the problem Persists.

For those experiencing the issue, do you have any cleaner apps installed on your device? If so, does this issue still occur if you disable it?
@[MOD] Greymagic27 Yes, I am on 1.21.70 and my settings still get reset every time I open the app, the issue doesn’t seem to affect the Windows 10 version but I am not sure about other versions.

This is question to everyone that encountered this bug.
To further investigate the issue we will need more information as we were unable to reproduce it.
Please provide us with coming information:
How much free space is available on your device, how much space is Minecraft taking up?
Are you using an SD Card? Are you storing Minecraft related content on it?
In the storage settings for Minecraft are you storing data in application or external storage?
Is there any logs that you can share with us when you are encountering this issue?
Can you work around the issue by adding a options.txt file to their external storage folder associated with Minecraft?

It's is now been fixed on the latest update, I don't know about the others.
Around 60 GB free of space, Minecraft is around ~900 MB
Using SD card but no Minecraft content in it
Used external storage option to easily back-up world
Don't have logs whatsoever
Don't know what it's talking about

I have had the issue of video settings resetting on windows version for a few updates now, and it’s still there. However it’s only video settings. All other settings that I have changed (eg sound) stay as i set them.
It doesn’t happen every time I open the game, but I would say 80% of the time
Is this still an issue as of 1.21.80?

I also experience this bug ever since updating to 1.21.60.
