Game intermittently resets Keyboard & Mouse bindings and specific Video settings on launch

Summary:

Since the introduction to the Ore UI Settings menu, the game intermittently resets Keyboard & Mouse bindings, disables the In-game graphics mode switching option, and changes the Graphics Mode to Vibrant Visuals when launching the game.

This behavior is disruptive, as players must repeatedly reconfigure their settings. Depending on how many custom key bindings are used, restoring these settings can be frustrating.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Navigate to Settings > Keyboard & Mouse.

2. Rebind any controls.

3. Navigate to Settings > Video.

4. Enable In-game graphics mode switching.

5. Set the Graphics Mode to Simple or Fancy.

6. Restart the game many times.

Observed Results:

At random launches:

• Keyboard & Mouse bindings are reset to their default values.

• In-game graphics mode switching is disabled.

• Graphics Mode is set to Vibrant Visuals.

Most times, only the key bindings and In-game graphics mode switching option are reset.

Expected Results:

All user settings should be consistently retained across game sessions.
