While also having this issue, I discovered the item with trim can be disenchanted when placed in the lower slot on left side of the grindstone gui.
I have nametagged frogs despawning in 1.20.1.
This fixed for me when I launched the game from the Minecraft Launcher instead of directly from its own executable.
I figured out the problem and it was my fault. Disregard.
Experimenting further, it may not be preventing all the way up to the top of the world, but it's definitely significantly higher than the uppermost area of the Ancient City. When in the Ancient City, there's a very clear change in environment from a Lush Cave that's directly above the Ancient City into the Ancient City. That's around y -18. The bottommost Obsidian block of my gold farm's Nether Portal is at y 1. Before 1.19.40, it spawned zombified piglins like it should. After, it doesn't spawn any at all. Slimes also use to spawn in the area of the portal and they no longer do either.
Added the seed and coordinates to the original post.
Still an issue in 1.19.21.
I just experienced this bug for the first time. Or, at least, I think it's the same bug. But the boat isn't actually disappearing.
I was working on ice highways in the Nether. I got in my boat and moved it a few blocks away around a corner so I could place ice blocks where it was. When I got out of the boat, it had been moved back to the spot where I got into it before moving it.
So maybe that's what's happening to others? The boat isn't disappearing, but is actually being moved back to where it was when they got into it?
I'm having the same problem with a zombie that picked up a bone. Iron Golems have waylayed it. I've hit it with my sword multiple times. In this attached video clip, he's been swimming in lava. Nothing can kill it.
[media]They're working again. No idea what happened.
This is marked as fixed, but it's still happening.
Uh, no. This is not the statue/ghost bug so it's not a duplicate. I can fully interact with the horse. I can mount it and open its inventory. I can attack it, see its red-flash that indicates it was hurt. When I mount it, it can slightly move around within the square it's in. But it will not move out of its square.
Happening to my worlds that already exist. Didn't import them.
I have no experimental toggles on and no resource packs being used.
