Multiplayer member lost all of his loot and spawned 5000 blocks from long off location

I (ps5) loaded into a multiplayer world after downlanding the new update and was playing for and hour, following my session my other ps5 friend joined with out a problem but 5 minutes later my ps4 friend joined the world and spawned 5000 blocks away in a village without any loot and no levels. I'm wondering is there anyway to fix this and get his loot back
