I cannot join Bedrock public servers nor can friends join my worlds

When I try to join any Bedrock servers, I usually get in fine. But recently, before the newest few updates (specifically after The Creaking during the cow variants' introduction,) I couldn’t join servers nor could friends join my worlds. It always stated “could not authenticate your microsoft login” or “cannot validate your login

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, logging out and back in, backing up my worlds on a flash drive and importing them, using the authenticator app to authenticate my login information, even going into the official launcher and Xbox app on my laptop to double and triple check for updates I may have missed. Nothing has worked so far. But I can join other worlds just fine as long as I am not the host of said world. The only thing I haven’t tried is testing it on another wifi connection, which I will try doing to see if that is the issue.

However, any other advice or suggestions for me to try would be wonderful. Thank you in advance for reading and/or leaving advice/suggestions!
