"You need to authenticate to Microsoft services / Sorry, we couldn't validate your login / You must be logged in to XBL"

When attempting to load a realm on bedrock, after the loading screen passes a screen with the summary mentioned above appears. We have attempted to join the realm on multiple different devices and accounts and it is reoccurring. The launcher and game are both up to date so that would not be an issue, WIFI is also stable so it isn't a matter of connection.

Myself and every member of my realm across several playing platforms are all having the exact same issue.

Having the same issue with both of my realms.

I just started getting this message this evening. I was playing on realms just fine this afternoon, and now that I got home from work I can not log in to any realms or public servers. I have tried on PC, Xbox, PS4 and PS5 with all of them getting the same message. On all devices, the game is updated. I have logged out and back in on my Microsoft account on all devices. On PC, I have done the date & time, run as administrator and restarted my PC a number of times and still getting the You need to authenticate to Microsoft services. My husband, who is the realm owner, is able to log in just fine, but he is logging in through the old launcher and not the new launcher that has all Minecraft games.

has anyone figured out how to fix this yet? it wougld be a big help if yes.

Please confirm if this issue is still occuring for you

The issue for me is intermittent. There are times that I can play and join realms without any issues but today I experienced it again. I’m using an android device. Definitely not a date and time or internet issue.

The issue this bug report was tracking is now fixed. For any new issues please open a new bug report.
