When I opened Minecraft yesterday, I don't know why the touch controls were broken. I have an Android device and it used to work with one tap but now I have to tap twice. I tried restarting the game and even restarting my phone but nothing worked. So I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it from the play store. But when I installed it, the touch control problem was solved but the game returned to the old UI.
