Originally, I thought that this was related to dyeing a sheep orange - however, now after reading the forums, I believe you can dye three sheep and the fourth crashes the realm. The sheep is not dyed when the realm comes back online.
Realm is owned by an MSFT employee, please contact me for details if you want to repro.
