Sorry about the English, it’s not my first language.
This bug appeared after version 1.21.60
1.Triggering
To trigger the bug,
Place a repeat command block with the command input "execute as @e[type=boat] at @s run setblock ~~~ water["liquid_depth"=5], switch the 'Redstone:' to always active
This command places flow water with liquid depth 5 under boats. However, the bug occurs with every liquid depth.
After the 1.21.60 update, boats move in a weird way, especially when rotating.(see file1)
To make the glitch happen more intense, give the boat a fast initial speed before touching the water)(see file2)
There's no existence of the bug in previous versions.
2.Impact
The glitch starts after rowing on the flow water, and ends after a moment later after returning to dry land, taking a few seconds to become normal. During the process, the perspective of the player suddenly changes frequently because of the random movement of the boat(see file2)
During multiplayer games, the bug still exists.
3.Further information
This bug was first discovered by a group of Chinese bedrock edition ice boating players from the race 'Formula Boat Mobile', the bug has a disastrous impact on the map for ice boating races, causing players to lose control of the boat due to the sudden change of their perspective after they rush into the concrete trap with flow water command and returning to the ice track.(see file3)
Therefore, it's crucial for the Chinese Bedrock Edition ice boating community to have the problem resolved.
"Mojang plz fix this, I would literally do anything!", said Shallowslate, the poor iOS Player who can't go back to the previous version
