Every time I try to break a block, even something like dirt, nothing will come from it, it’s a bug that appeared after playing multi-player on a modded Minecraft world, three mods are from the marketplace while one being a texture mod was from an outside source, I’m not sure what to do to fix this bug since it was working fine yesterday. I don’t want to delete the world as I have a lot of progress already on it and very nice seeds, but I’m not sure if it’s beyond saving now.

I unfortunately do not have realms, all I have is the regular Minecraft pocket edition, which I can play multi-player with just fine, this issue has occurred in the past on non modded servers as well, mobs drop things when killed just fine, it’s strangely just the blocks that seem to do it, however I will try this solution out and contact further if it doesn’t end up working, thank you for the suggestion.
Did it work to turn on the mob drops and tile drops options?
If not, which add-ons are you using (name and creator), and does the issue still occur if those are removed?
I ended up just creating a new world as it is less buggy- I don’t think I was able to save the old one but that’s alright, thanks for the help!
Hi,
It's not the settings in advanced settings, it is a setting in the Cheats settings, regardless if cheats are turned on or not. I can't remember the exact name other than entities drop. This must be turned on to get boats etc to drop when you break them. I'm not sure if there is one for blocks in the cheat settings aswell, if there is ensure that is also enabled. Again these turned off even with saves that don't have cheats activated and I had to manually go into each save to turn that feature on.
Hi, I've had this same problem across multiple devices and realms, multi-player and single player. In the Cheats settings there is something called entities drop, it had defaulted to off even on saves that do not have cheats enabled. If you're playing on a realm, you need to download the realm, go into edit the save as a single player then go to cheats and enable entites drops, then you can re-upload the save as a realm. You can't change cheats on a realm as they're greyed out which is why you need to do it via a single player save. Please make sure to back-up yourgame before doing these steps as a safety precaution, and please respond if this does or doesn't fix your issue.
