Bluetooth controller makes player to continuously look up in the air

MCPE v 1.0.2 on Android 7.0 (Sony Xperia X) with bluetooth connected gamepad Steel Series Stratus XL. The player looks up continuously when gamepad joysticks are moved. Switching off the bluetooth connected gamepad and the player behaves normally. When the gamepad is connected to the android device, the player starts to look up and whatever movements I make, it continues to look up in the air. Similar issue reported in MCPE-16533, MCPE-13054. The video file attached to MCPE-16533 is explaining very well the bug.

This is the video from MCPE-16533 which explains exactly what happens. In the week-end I will create a video on my own device, at the moment I cannot, as I'm in Stockholm and my gamepad is at home in Bucharest.

I can't seem to reproduce this reported bug.

I am connected via my Xbox One S (bluetooth) controller, and everything seems fine.

Can you verify if the controller you are using is either broken, or a official Xbox controller?

Hi TheDeibo, are you using your Xbox One S (bluetooth) controller with an Android device? The reported issue was related to Minecraft pocket edition on Android devices (mobile, tablet, etc) and bluetooth controllers. Several users reported this error in MCPE-13054.

I bought an XBOX One S and indeed MCPE on Android is working fine. Is anyway something that was changed during last updates, and would have been good to know the MCPE on mobile devices is only working with XBOX controllers..

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket has not been updated recently (1 year+) so is being closed as Cannot Reproduce. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines.

I still have this issue in 1.12.1 on the honor 10 lite, and the galaxy s8. no matter what I do I can't control the character and keeps spinning. It's so annoying, happens with Steelseries stratus xl and ps4 Bluetooth controller. Weren't they supposed to add support for ps4 controllers?

Same thing happens on my iPhone 11 and iPad 6 gen with an Xbox one Bluetooth controller. It seems like it happening across all mobile platforms
