Minecraft says I am almost out of data storage space, therefore disallows me going on worlds, Realms, the Minecraft Movie Live Event or the Marketplace.
I don't want to delete anything on my tablet as I have only 8 apps installed and about 20 videos and photos, which isn't much, about 3 addons DOWNLOADED (I own about 200+ items on the Marketplace but have only downloaded 3) and about 1GB free spac on my tablet.
I have not heard of any sort of 2GB data restriction like the one on the Switch.
Sorry but I have no clear way of reproducing on other devices.

It doesn't allow me to properly play the game
Expected Result:
It should wait until I have like 20MB (0.02GB) of space left before it restricts what I can do on Minecraft.

It is a bug that has been being reported for several years and has been closed and reopened. it is merged in issue # MCPE-162920. it occurs on many platforms and seems to be a cloud error not a console or Minecraft problem. My Minecraft world is less than 400 Mbps and won’t save and I only have Minecraft on my Xbox Series X console
I don’t think this is necessarily a bug but I think you need to get more data. And I know it’s annoying but it’s that or delete everything on your tablet
