Vibrant Visuals: Shadows are cast on blocks differently based on given z coordinate.

Observed that blocks placed on Z coordinates that are divisible by 4 have shadows that are rendered correctly with no mis-alignment and the shadow width = block width.

However blocks placed on Z coordinates that aren’t divisible by 4, have issues with mis-alignment or the width of the shadow does not correlate with that of the block.

This effect is not altered by the players position relative to the block. This occurs concurrently across negative and positive Z coordinates. With the player facing towards the east, shadows are misaligned 1 pixel towards the south direction ( positive X ). Facing towards the west, shadows are misaligned in the same direction (south) by 1 pixel.

Issue does not change with time of day.

Vibrant Visuals Settings:

Shadow Quality: Ultra, Point Shadow Quality: Ultra.

Issue did not change with altering these settings.

This has been happening to me too, and has been somewhat taking away from the experience for me

Its kind of annoying how almost no one is noticing this! It drives me nuts!!!!

I’m all for perfectly aligned shadows, this is driving me crazy

I wonder if its the game thinking that the sun/moon is a little bit too left or right from the 0 Z coordinate.
