I've been having a recurring issue on my Minecraft worlds that cause chunks to load extremely slow when moving in a boat in oceans and occasionally on land or flying at full speed in creative.
Render distance setting, texture pack, fancy graphics and beautiful skies has no effect as my game isn't laggy.
Pausing, looking straight down or straight up and even relogging help for two or three chunks but it continues to not load for a very long time after that.
Side note: this is happening on my iPhone 7 Plus (there isn't an option for my phone in devices).

I noticed this back after 1.0 came out, especially in boats

I am also having this very same problem now ever since 1.1
It was pretty much ok before the 1.1 update. (1.1.1 update hasn't helped this problem at all)
Almost always when I am boating on the sea the distant scenery fails to generate after about 300 blocks of rowing where I get to the edge of the abyss. and see nothing beyond.
Sometimes it attempts to catch up. But often not.
It is fine when inside buildings and underground. Also sometimes when i have returned to land and blocks begin to generate normally again I find that the machine will crash or refer to a previous backup when I log out and back in again.
I have also noticed using process explorer 64 that my memory usage remains pretty normal throughout these episodes, but cpu usage is quite extreme. (vertually 100% on one core and 50% on the other)
I'm using a desktop PC. i3 6300 processor. 8GB ram, 256GB SSD (20% full)
My world is in survival and is several months old now and presently 160MB in size.
I tried creating a new survival world and this is much better. CPU usage is also much lower.
Any chance of saving my old world? I've put so much work into it???
It says that the above issue was resolved. But I don't see any comments of what was done to improve matters?
