I’m playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition on PS5 and noticed that the GUI scale setting never saves correctly. When I change it to “0” in the video settings, it visually appears as “0”, but the interface still behaves as if it’s on “-1” (auto). After restarting the game, the GUI remains scaled incorrectly and I have to manually change it again every time I launch the game.
Even when I set it to “-1” manually, nothing changes (since it’s already stuck on auto). Reinstalling the game or deleting saved data doesn’t fix the issue.
I also checked videos from other players and noticed they all have GUI scale displayed as “0”, but the actual scale looks like “-1”. This happens on Xbox as well, so it’s likely a general issue with Bedrock Edition on consoles.
Steps to reproduce:
Open Minecraft Bedrock on PS5.
Go to Settings > Video > GUI Scale Modifier.
Set it to “0” and confirm.
Restart the game.
The GUI scale remains the same as before (like -1), even though it still says “0”.
Expected behavior:
The GUI scale should remain on the selected setting and reflect the actual change on screen.
Actual behavior:
The GUI scale setting reverts to “-1” internally (auto), even when it shows “0”, causing confusion and requiring manual changes every session.
