Vibrant Visuals: Thunder clouds not visible during rain

I was testing Vibrant visuals when it started to rain I quickly noticed that there was no thunder clouds it was blue skies with a few clouds like normal but it was raining I'm not sure if I'm the only one that has noticed this but maybe they can fix it.
