Vibrant Visuals: Sky does not change to overcast during rain

Bedrock Preview 1.21.80.26, Vibrant Visuals. When it is raining, the sky does not change to overcast, and the sun still gives off the same light as though it was not raining.

Pardon my bump I must correct myself. I didn’t mean to”burnet visuals” I meant “vibrant visuals”.

This issue is relevant for Widows 10 as well.

Dear developers, when solving the problem, add a setting for weather conditions to the "lighting/global.json" file, thank you

I’m on Windows 11, completely vanilla Minecraft Bedrock (1.21.93) and I’ve been having this bug ever since I installed the game a couple weeks ago. At first my friend and I thought it was funny that I had sunny skies when it was raining/thundering. (She plays on Xbox.) But now I’m just wanting to get it fixed, it’s starting to really bug me.

After the latest update (1.21.93) this is still an issue. It’s fixed in preview mode. What’s the hold up? This is a really basic bug that’s easy to fix and while minor in the grand scheme of things I feel this is one of the more important aspects of Minecraft.
