Storm clouds not working on vibrant visuals

Whenever there’s a rain storm, the grey clouds never come, and in place there’s just regular ones- it looks like a sunny sky with rain coming from plain white clouds. I’m not sure if it is the add-ons that I’m using, but this bug is extremely annoying and now I miss old minecraft when storm clouds were there…
