Enchanted Book with “Density III” Appeared in Survival Without Mods or Add-ons

Hi Mojang Team,

I encountered a strange issue in Minecraft Bedrock (iOS, purchased via App Store). While playing a regular survival world with no mods, no resource packs, no experimental features, and no Marketplace maps, I found an enchanted book with the enchantment:

Density III

This enchantment doesn’t seem to exist in the official Minecraft enchantment list. I didn’t use any commands or creative mode to obtain it. The book was discovered randomly while playing in survival—possibly looted from a generated structure (e.g. shipwreck, dungeon, or ruined portal).

I tried applying it to tools via an anvil, and it doesn’t seem to have any noticeable effect. It looks like either a placeholder, a bugged enchantment, or some kind of leftover developer enchant that wasn’t meant to appear.

Device: iPhone

Version: [insert your Minecraft version here – e.g., 1.20.80]

World type: Default survival world, created from scratch.

No behavior/resource packs applied.
