No matter what i do the game closes a few seconds after clicking play

reinstalled the game twice, did what the minecraft support reccomends- twice, game opens and stays open for a few seconds on “mojang studios” red screen for a few seconds and then closes without any crash report or any message. Not really an issue with the computer- can run The Sims 4 on basically maximum settings. Only been an issue for the past two days, downloaded a necccesary update and the game didn’t work since
