Villagers kill themselves with their own fireworks after a raid

When a raid is complete, villagers celebrate with fireworks but this sometimes just kills them and blows them up for some reason. It just happened to most of my villagers.

If you place a solid block just above their heads, they shouldn’t set off any fireworks.

So basically after a raid is defeated, the villagers celebrate by setting of fireworks if there’s no block close above them. The issue/bug is the fireworks they set of almost always explode too early damaging them and eventually killing them. The fireworks shouldn’t explode when still near them or like Java edition, they should only set them off when they’re not near any other mob and within a safe enough area to do so.
