The game does not open

When I click to open the game, it opens the first red screen for about 2 seconds and then closes, no matter how hard I try, it opens for 2 seconds on that red screen and then closes again. When I tried to open the Minecraft launcher, it told me that the game was already running, but the game wouldn't open, and then it let me into the launcher, but I click on play again and it opens for 2 seconds and closes again.This started happening after the update.
