Snow biome corruption

In two separate worlds after a little while of gameplay the ice within cold biomes would seem to corrupt and completely change themselves at seeming random, this seems to happen in chunks spanning across multiple but there being a base 16 size aka the size of a normal chunk, they follow in the exact same location as chunks too, the issue is neither worlds were old and all happened within the same update eliminating the possibility of new chunks from new versions overriding old ones because no new chunks exist, I even loaded up the same seeds and the world was still the exact same as it was before the chunks corrupted, now this only happens in the snow/cold biomes as just outside of them and far beyond has no signs of corruption, this happens in all cold biomes and only happens where ice is, this does extent to frozen oceans/iceberg biomes, lakes, rivers, just everywhere ice is at water level, in the screenshots I attached I tried to show that is does happen everywhere. For whatever reason these new chunks do follow the cold biome but are completely different as they aren’t water or even blended in like most corrupted chunks are, they are just jagged with no signs of blending as the other times I’ve experienced corrupted chunks the blending feature did work, but not in these cold biomes ice spots, this again only happens where water/ice is normally as the normal ground and non cold biomes are completely free from this chunk replacement issue
