In MCBE, when rapidly or somewhat swiftly switching between hotbar slots while interacting with items (such as placing, using, or attacking), the game occasionally activates the previously selected hotbar slot instead of the intended one.
This is highly noticeable in competitive PvP, where fast item swapping is critical e.g. players switching to an block, totem, or weapon often find the previous item reselected without input.
It results in:
Blocks being placed when attempting to switch to something else
A totem being consumed when trying to use another item.
Consistent disruption in PvP flow and accuracy in general
The issue seems tied to input buffering or delayed slot synchronisation between client and server under rapid input conditions.
Please fix this β itβs awful for anyone trying to PvP or build properly. Thank you!

Help I still got this issue, especially since I do a lot of Crystal Pvp on bedrock, windows 10. Like especially on realms, whenever I try to crystal fast, it goes back to the previous slot, making me end up spamming obsidian everywhere instead of placing a crystal. Same goes for anchors, or placing any kind of blocks fast like that. π
