The game was working fine. It was time to leave the house, so I used the menu to select “Save and Quit”. It did so successfully. Or so it said. I then duplicated that save to have my second backup as always. When I got home, I loaded Minecraft back up and selected play. I chose that world. It went through the loading screen with the box changing hints as it does, and then said Problem Loading The world. I clicked OK and it acted like it finished loading, then went back to main menu. Tried it a few times, same thing. Tried loading the copy backup. It goes for a minute, then blue screens the app back to the PS Main Menu. So I loaded my older backup from a week ago. It loaded fine, lost a little work, but no worries. Time to leave again. Did the save and quit. Duplicated that world. Got back home, loaded everything up again, hit play, selected that world, and same thing. Goes through load to point of saying Problem loading the world. Acts like it completes the load. The copy does the same thing too, blue screens the app back to the PS Main Menu. Copied a much older back up from the cloud. It is a much smaller file and is 3 years old. Lots of stuff (years of work) lost. Played it for a bit and did a save and quit. Tried loading it back up. It will reload. The file size for my newer current game(s) is (are) 1.2gb (which apparently is saved as 2 separate files??? according to what I see when looking in there). The file size4 for my older game is 393mb. But at 1.1gb the newer files were working fine. This all started along with some excessive saving cycles and the game freezing up during play regularly after the last update last week. Had no issues prior to that update. Not sure if that helps.

I have the same exact problem. my world is also around 1.1GB, however im on ps5.
I tried loading into my world and was successful. after a bit I decided to save and quit and later when I tried to load back in I get to the loading screen, the hints cycle as normal but the loading bar goes a little bit and just stops or just doesnt do anything. it then kicks me out to a screen where it says” there was a problem loading this world” and im forced to backnout of the screen.
when I try to load another save of the same world it does the same thing, allows me to enter that save once but when I back out and try to load back in it hits me with the same screens.
This has happened to me once before after an update I tried to load into the world and it worked no problem.I then left and tried rejoining and the hints would cycle while the bar would go up a little a freeze until kicking me out to the screen that says"thwre was a problem loading this world”.
I had reported the bug, after about a month or two I tried loading into the world and it worked.
the only common denominator i have found between both times these bugs occurred was that the world was 1GB or more and that they both occurred after an update to the game.
The same here in version 1.21.72 of the PS4.
After updating to version 1.21.72, the map loaded, however due to slowness, we chose to save and load the map again. From then on, it no longer loads, always showing the same message: "There was a problem loading this world". The same thing happened with the backup file, it loads the first time, however after saving the same error repeats itself.
We tried to import the map into Realms, however, on the first attempt, when it reached 70% we got an error. Now, new attempts stop at 0% with the following message: "We couldn't pack your world file for upload. Maybe your hard drive is full?". But we have more than 80% of the disk free.
The file is 1.2GB and was created in 2021 with my daughter, We have several stories together on this map.
I can make the file available on OneDrive if that helps. Please fix this because my daughter watched the movie and now we can't access our map.
