Game didn’t save properly and I lost everything

This morning I was playing before school and I was in a deep cave with a bunch of valuables and when I got off I watched my game save and turned my console on when I returned to my world right it reset me to my original spawn point with nothing is there anyway to reset me back my position to where I saved or am I out of luck
