Villagers Do Not Plant Beetroot Seeds
Image one: Villager was first introduced to beetroot seeds. As you can see from the image, villager (farmer) does not pick up the beetroot seeds, nor plant them.
Image two: Villager was given just one carrot after the beetroot seeds, and is shown to plant that carrot immediately.
